Murphy Farm Rope N’ Run Postponed due to Predicted Thunderstoms

Due to predicted thunderstorms, the Murphy Farm Rope and Run has been postponed to a future date TBA.

When a new date is scheduled, come join us for a terrific time at the ” Rope N’ Run Rodeo Event at the Murphy Farm, at 8400 Airport Road, Quinton, Virginia“….yes, it’s a real rodeo to benefit Special Olympics Virginia Area 6.

Information for spectators: This event promises to be lots of fun and is an all day event.. Folks can come and go at any time they want from early morning until is over at night. You can bring your own snacks and food but you can also buy food and drinks from the food vendors that will be set up at the event. There is no seating at the farm so bring you own beach chair or something else to sit on as you watch and enjoy the rodeo events and activities.

This is a fun and event and it will benefit our Area 6 program.

Admission is Free to all Athletes and their families. Come watch the rodeo events, barrel racing, team roping, goat tying, open breakaway, open tie down, dummy roping, walk-up goat tying, and other activities. Mark your calendars for September 8; gates open at 7 AM . Concession stands and food vendors will be available to purchase food and drinks.
